Korean Morning Skincare Routine (Oily, Combination, Acne-Prone Skin)
I know that a lot of you guys really enjoyed my Night time Korean skin care routine so I thought I share my MORNING Korean skin care routine this time! Also, I'm going to do an updated night time Korean skin care routine video since the one that I did was about 2 years ago! I changed the kbeauty products and the routine , so I'll definitely do the updated video !
Before I begin, here is the video version if you prefer just watching than reading!
My skin type / Skin problems :
I struggled and still struggling with being an oil-slick french fry *tears. I never had perfect skin but definitely keeping a good skin care routine drastically improved my skin. Just FYI , I am about 26 years old ( so now I also have to consider avoiding wrinkles too -- Noooo!) And I must say, I am a firm believer in Korean beauty products ! They are just slaying the skincare game and I am so proud that Kbeauty is finally taking off , here in the U.S.
Korea is known to be ahead of technology in terms of skin care. So here is my Morning 6-step Korean Skincare Routine ! I have been using this routine for about 6 months now! I love experimenting so, maybe after 6 months, I may curate another Korean skin care routine.
Also, fyi the cute korean headband im wearing in the video, people have been asking me, I couldn't find the exact one, but here is a similar(and maybe even a cuter) version! : https://goo.gl/qGiDdq
Step 1 :1st cleanser
Something called "double cleansing" is quite popular in Korea. I haven't really heard this phrase in America though and I'm not sure if they caught onto this concept yet. So the first cleanser I am using is called Banila Co 's Clean it Zero. Before I got my hands on it, I heard many people raving about it. To be honest, when I first saw a picture of it, I was like...
"Wait.. what is it?" . This is basically in a solid form, but after you slap some on your face , it turns to this silky oil . You can massage your face and basically removes all your makeup . It slides right off and I seriously love this.

Step 2 : 2nd cleanser
2nd cleanser : Well you still have all that oil on your face from the 1st cleanser. So this is where the 2nd cleanser comes in ! I'm using Innis Free Blueberry Cleanser
This is a foam cleanser which you can lather up with water and feel squeaky clean.
My face instantly feels super fresh and baby soft. It makes my skin so much clearer and brighter.

Step 3 : Toner
Tone yo face!
Let me tell you, this is my favorite korean beauty product so far. In the morning , I'm super tired and my face feels really dull . I love this because you can just literally spray and pat this toner onto your skin. It's super refreshing and pretty much wakes me up in the morning!

Step 4 : Essence
Next step is to add some essence.
Since I have acne-prone skin and prone to redness , I have to be really careful that I do not use harsh chemicals and something that can make my skin worse. This tea tree essence is super light-weight and helps soothe it. Lovee it!

Step 5 : Serum
So the next step is to add a bit of serum! I also heard great things about this product as well !
Especially since I have to start worrying about wrinkles and elasticity , this is like peeerfect! This is packed with vitamins which instantly helps my skin feel smoother and bouncy!

Step 6 : Cream
Last but not the least, I am using a cream to finish off this routine.
I am using the famous Dynasty Cream (sounds so royal, eh? ) and this literally makes me skin look super bouncy and gives me a healthy glow. You can even check out the difference if you want to see it in the video. I absolutely love it and shockingly, it does not make me feel oily. It is light-weight and helps prep my face for my face makeup.

FINITO! This is my skin care routine as of now and a lot of people noticed a huge improvement on skin. I hope you guys enjoyed it and found it helpful. I plan to do more reviews and more skin-care related blog posts and videos. I also want to give you tips on how I got rid of acne (I used to struggle with horrible acne and scars) so please stay tuned.
